The film is both the story of a man, “Marquis of Wavrin” and his encounter with Amazonian Indians through rare documents from the 1920s and 1930s. It’s also a film about the heritage role of cinemas and ultimately a film which shows the Marquis of Wavrin as one of the pioneers of visual anthropology.
