Regine Maritz is a cultural historian of the early modern period with a particular interest in the political dimensions of gender and subjectivity, as well as in the history of the body. She defended her Ph.D. thesis at the University of Cambridge in January 2018. Since then she has worked as a teaching fellow at the University of Bern and currently holds and SNSF Early Postdoc.Mobility grant at the Sorbonne-Université in Paris.
Regine Maritz ist Kulturhistorikerin der Frühen Neuzeit mit spezifischen Forschungsinteressen an den politischen Dimensionen von Geschlecht und Subjektivität, sowie der Geschichte des Körpers. Sie verteidigte ihre Dissertation im Januar 2018 an der Universität Cambridge. Seither war sie Junior Fellow am Walter Benjamin Kolleg der Universität Bern, sowie wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin mit einem Lehrauftrag am Lehrstuhl für Neuere Geschichte der Universität Bern. Zurzeit forscht sie an der Sorbonne-Université finanziert von einem SNF Early Postdoc.Mobility Stipendium.
