Ahmed Medhat
Ahmed Medhat is a journalist and independent researcher at the Swedish Radio’s MENA office in Cairo with a BA in Islamic Studies and Linguistics from Al-Azhar University. He conducted investigative field research on various topics, among them Islamism and radicalization, migration and gender, human trafficking, sectarian questions particularly in Upper Egypt, and social and political dissent for various international media and research outlets.
